Commentary/review
A nice surprise. The titles and authors are quite varied and interesting. My favourite short story from this anthology was The Kuker by Alma Katsu, a remarkably uplifting piece. The introduction is quite boldly written. This anthology is not merely commercial and shows ambition. I am very happy that such a good rendition in an audio format was available. I was very lucky to find it early, horror is not what I usually look for. Very neat and wholesome.
The cover is the most commercially oriented part of that book. I suppose it will often be bought but rarely read in full. And that is fine. A very nice cover, with a great selection of short stories inside it.
