Commentary/review
An interesting book about American history, building a home in a remote area and an author portrayed in her natural environment. The book is funny in, perhaps, unintended ways. It is a memoir documenting the process of building an expensive, impractical homestead. While your average human being usually ends up learning to be content with what they have, in this memoir you will get the experience of someone who creates costly, complicated schemes for obtaining satisfaction against the environment, circumstances, and their own capabilities or expectations. It is the opposite of the stoic way of life.
A pretty cover, like the pretty things described inside.
