Short, informative, uplifting. A Muslim working-class woman surviving modern capitalism in Singapore, with three children. An interesting account from the perspective of practicalities of religion (Shari’a law), Asian bureaucracy and the overall role – and power – of women.

The cover played an important role in my audiobook choice. Simple and sweet, like the book.
