Commentary/review
I read it a while back and did not find time, at the time, to review. Since the book stayed in my memory for so long, it definitely deserves a note. Bradley Chermside wrote a charming testimony of his life’s greatest pleasure and achievement – walking the Camino de Santiago with almost no preparation. The book is funny, the tone very frank and open. The reader is able to learn from Author’s mistakes and observe the perils of long walking, mainly, of course, the danger of addiction (yes, the addiction to walking long miles).
A memorable cover, with great colors. Quite unlike the standard pallette but rather successful, I admit.
